Adodoola Omiyale is more than just her day-job. Her one regret is asking herself "what if" or "I wish I did" years down the line. Her curiosity got the better of her when she signed up to an online coding course & Technical writing workshop. Since then she has been nagivating through this space. Trying to see where she fits in or pondering whether to create her own lane in the Javascript & Data Visualization space.
Adodoola Omiyale grew up in the UK and works in software sales by day and by night is working on her other interests such as data viz projects using ObservableHQ. Her leaning never stops!

As an established leader in AI, Peter Voss is passionate about answering the question of making AI more and more human. What is (and isn't) AI? How much further does AI need to go to reach that "human" threshold? Should we be concerned about this closing of the gap, or is there a bigger problem to keep in mind? We discuss all this and more in Educative Sessions.
Peter Voss started out in electronics engineering, but quickly moved into software. After developing a comprehensive ERP software package, Peter took his first software company from a zero to 400-person IPO in seven years. Peter founded SmartAction.ai in 2009, which developed the first AGI-based call center automation technology. Now, in his latest venture, Aigo.ai, he has created a ‘Conversational AI’ technology with a mission of providing hyper-intelligent hyper-personal assistants for everyone.

Maria Elijah started learning programming languages such as Python, etc. during her undergraduate study. She wasn't specific about her career path until she went for an internship program at an IT firm, where she got to work with developers; one of which was a Flutter developer. He gave her an overview of the Flutter framework. She then did her research, loved it, took a course, and started writing codes for any app design she could find online. She discovered that coding naturally became easy.
Maria Elijah is a flutter developer and a technical writer. She makes DIY projects using hardware components such as Raspberry Pi, Arduino, etc. Using these components, she has written several articles. In sports, she is a fan of soccer and basketball. Maria also loves cooking and believes learning never stops.

We know that not every line of code is equally valuable, but how do you work on valuable things? Developers obsess over frameworks and code quality, but in reality the best outcomes are more determined by product-market-founder fit than code quality. Swyx is a former hedge fund investor turned developer and has some interesting thoughts based on seeing through 2 unicorn startups.
swyx has worked on React and serverless JavaScript at Two Sigma, Netlify and AWS, and now serves as Head of Developer Experience at Temporal.io. He has started and run communities for hundreds of thousands of developers, like Svelte Society, /r/reactjs, and the React TypeScript Cheatsheet. His nontechnical writing was recently published in the Coding Career Handbook for Junior to Senior developers.

Before Dr. Guy Yachdav worked to map the immune system with Immunai, he served as a project supervisor in Munich that made international headlines. Using the same machine learning algorithms to analyze genomic data, Guy applied it to predict a question on everyone's mind at the time: in the Game of Thrones, who will win ... and who will die? Guy's work shows us that with the right skill and mindset, it's very possible to explore a wide variety of questions, even and especially on matters of life and death.
Guy Yachdav is a very experienced engineer and ML practitioner. He has been building software tools and databases used in pharmaceutical genomic research for more than 15 years. He currently works for Immunai maps the immune system. More than 150 people with a multidisciplinary background in immunology, genomics, AI, and engineering are working together at Immunai to discover new therapeutics to fight cancer and accelerate drug development. This is the story of an A/B test which failed miserably. What seemed like a brilliant idea lead to the conversion rate and revenue per visitor fall inexplicably through the floor. In the series of epiphanies which follow, our protagonist happens upon the realisation that his failure actually saved his employer millions of pounds.
Oliver Palmer ran his first A/B test back in 2008 while contracting at a London law firm. He discovered with a handful of experiments and a few false starts that he was able to halve their cost of acquisition on Google’s most notoriously expensive PPC keyword.
Since then, in addition to working as an experimentation practitioner, Oliver works as a consultant and coach to help enterprise businesses become more adept at running business experiments at scale. You can learn more at oliverpalmer.com.

Emily Hill spent 6 LONG years learning to program. After receiving a BS in CS with a 4.0 her final two years of college, she still couldn't code her way out of a paper bag. Clearly, more school was the solution, and she enrolled in a PhD program in CS. In the end, she still had to teach herself! Since her eureka moment, Emily has made it her mission to demystify the art of programming & software development by teaching aspiring coders how to work smarter, not harder.
Dr. Emily Hill is a software engineering trainer, educator, & mother of 4 kiddos. After teaching problem solving & coding skills to college students for over 10 years as a tenured professor, she realized she could teach the same skills faster, better, and cheaper outside of the university, where she helps learners realize their dreams of becoming 6 figure developers. She is the founder of the Joy of Coding Academy (joyofcoding.academy).
